Indications
Acard 150 mg is intended for long-term, preventive use in diseases that may result in the formation of clots and embolisms in blood vessels.

Composition
Ingredients of Acard 150 mg
1 gastro-resistant tablet contains:
- active substance: acetylsalicylic acid 150 mg (Acidum acetylsalicylicum),
- other ingredients: powdered cellulose, corn starch, sodium carboxymethyl starch; coating: hypromellose, methacrylic acid copolymer type C, talc, colloidal anhydrous silica, sodium bicarbonate, sodium lauryl sulfate, triethyl citrate, anti-foam emulsion.
Dosage
This medicine should be always use exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
The usual recommended dosage is: 1 tablet a day.
In a recent myocardial infarction or suspicion of a recent myocardial infarction: 2 gastro-resistant tablets at a time.
The tablets should be chewed very carefully to accelerate absorption.
Contraindications h2>
allergy to acetylsalicylic acid, other salicylates or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,increased bleeding tendency and blood clotting disorders,stomach ulcer and /or duodenum,serious kidney or liver problems (severe kidney or liver failure),use of methotrexate (a medicine used to treat cancer) in doses of 15 mg per week or more, III trimester of pregnancy (last three months of pregnancy),if the patient has had asthma attacks in the past after taking acetylsalicylic acid or other anti-inflammatory drugs (symptoms: shortness of breath, wheezing),do not use in children under 12 years of age with viral infections (e.g. flu or chickenpox), due to the possibility of liver and brain damage (Reye's syndrome).Storage
The medicine should be stored in the original packaging in to protect against moisture, at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.Keep out of the sight and reach of children.Do not use the medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the packaging. The expiry date refers to the last day of that month.Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines you no longer use.
