🚲The Zundapp ZT20R Folding combines the advantages of a conventional folding bicycle with an electric drive, making it a flexible, environmentally friendly means of transportation in cities. It is suitable for both commuting and shopping, combining everyday sportiness with practicality.

📏When folded, the bike has dimensions98 cm x 72 cm x 42 cmso you can place it practically anywhere! This is made possible by only 20-inch wheels and a low frame. However, the bike can be easily adapted to the needs of taller cyclists thanks to the adjustable seat and handlebars.

💎The frame is made of extremely lightweight aluminum to reduce weight. Despite the electric drive, the bike with the battery weighs only 23 kg, so it can be carried on a train or in a car. Nevertheless, the Zündapp ZT20R is as durable and resistant as a traditional bicycle.

⚡ The drive consists of a brushless wheel hub motor on the rear wheel, which, with a power of 250 watts, accelerates the bike to a speed of 25 km/h. It draws energy from a lithium-ion battery that is placed in frame and can be locked to prevent theft. Additionally, a 468Wh battery will allow you to travel up to 115 km!

✔️ The bike has ergonomic geometry that ensures optimal riding comfort. In addition to the electric drive, a Shimano derailleur with 7 gears is also available, which can be changed smoothly using the RevoShift rotary switch. Mechanical disc brakes on the front and rear wheels provide reliable traction.

Our bikes are carefully packed and secured by an experienced service.☑️

Before packing, the bike is handed over to our service technicians, where it undergoes a full service. The bicycles are then packed in thick cardboard boxes measuring 140 x 60 x 20 cm. Additionally, bicycle components are secured to minimize the risk of damage. Everything to ensure that the bike reaches you safely and intact!

The bike is delivered partially assembled .✔️

All that remains is to screw on the wheel, handlebar, pedals, saddle and accessories (depending on the model purchased).

For assembly you will need:

• Open-end wrenches: 8, 9, 10, 13, 15, (18, 19 - electric bike wheels)
• Allen wrenches: 4, 5, 6, 8
• Screwdriver for adjustment

How to assemble a bike at home?⚙️

1️⃣Remove and unpack individual items from the packaging.✔️

2️⃣Assemble the saddle, handlebar and pedals (note which pedal is right and which is left).✔️

3️⃣Screw the front wheel and check that the remaining elements are properly installed and tightened.✔️

4️⃣Adjust the derailleurs and brakes.

5️⃣The bike is ready to ride!✔️

In addition to the health benefits, riding an electric bike is an excellent alternative to combustion vehicles.

Changing your car for an electric bike reduces the production of harmful exhaust gases. According to the ECF (European Cyclists' Federation), choosing a bicycle or e-bike as a means of transport can mean a significant reduction in CO2 emissions per year.

FAQ - Frequently asked questions

What really is an E-bike?

E-bike is a bicycle equipped with an electric motor and a battery. It is intended to make driving easier for you, regardless of your skills. It does not ride itself, but only supports the work of your legs. Our offer includes such bikes. They are equipped with engines with a power of up to 250W and a speed limit of up to 25 km/h, without a separate throttle. They are equipped with a motion sensor that activates assistance while pedaling. They are 100% legal, roadworthy and compliant with European Union regulations.

Can I use my E-bike when my battery is discharged?

Yes, you can use the electric bike even if the battery is discharged. However, riding a unloaded E-bike requires the same effort from you as using a regular bike.

What does the range of an electric bike depend on?

The range of an e-bike depends on the selected support mode, the user's weight and the terrain you are riding on. The battery will discharge faster on demanding, uneven terrain or when using a higher mode than when driving around town using e.g. eco mode. In our auctions we provide the maximum range for a given model.

How to charge an electric bike?

The set we send includes a charger. It should be connected to the mains and then to the socket on the bicycle or the socket in the battery. However, remember to charge the bicycle battery in appropriate conditions, i.e. preferably at room temperature. In the case of lithium-ion batteries, you can charge your bike even when it is not fully discharged, as this will not affect the performance and life of the battery.

How to take care of the battery condition in an electric bike?

Store the battery in appropriate conditions; preferred room temperature - keeping the battery in a hot or very cold room exposes it to damage. Using the boost levels appropriately will also help maintain battery health. Also avoid extremes, e.g. deep discharge of the battery or too long of charging - do not leave the battery connected to the charger overnight.
