PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE TEST

The blood sample is drawn into the reaction zone of the strip by capillary force. When the filtered blood reacts with the reagent on the electrodes, the meter will detect a current, providing a potential. The current will then be converted to the equivalent total cholesterol value in plasma.

TEST RESULTS

• Measuring range: 100-400 mg/dL (2.59-10.35 mmol/ l
• Normal range for healthy adults: ≤200 mg/dl (5.17 mmol/l). (Range is a reference only)
• If the screen displays "Lo" , the total cholesterol level may be below 100 mg/dL (2.59 mmol/L)
• If the screen displays "Hi", the total cholesterol level may be above 400 mg/dL (10.35 mmol/L) l).

If your test result is unusually low, high, or inconsistent with how you feel, check the steps below and repeat the test with a new strip, making sure you have followed exactly instructions.

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION OF THE TEST

The blood sample is sucked into the reaction zone of the strip under the influence of capillary force. When glucose in the blood reacts with the reagent on the electrodes, the meter will detect a current, providing a potential. The current will then be converted to the equivalent plasma blood glucose value.

TEST RESULTS

Measuring range: 20-600 mg/dl (1.1-33.3 mmol/l)

Normal glucose level:

• before breakfast: 70-105 mg/dl (3.9-5.8 mmol/l) 1 or 2 hours
• after meal: <120- 160 mg/dl (6.7-8.9 mmol/l) (range is for information only. )

If “lo” is displayed, your blood glucose level may be below 20 mg/dl (1.1 mmol/l).

If “Hi” is displayed, your blood glucose level may be above 600 mg/dl (33.3 mmol/ l).

NOVAMA MULTICHECK PRO+ uric acid test strips are intended for measuring the acid level total urinary tract in capillary blood from the entire finger.

Measuring range: 3-20 mg/dl (0.18-1.19 mmol/l)

• Normal range for a healthy man: 3.4-7.0 mg/dl (0 .2-0.42 mmol/l
• Normal range for a healthy woman: 2.4-6.0 mg/dl (0.14-0.36 mmol/l) (range is reference value only )

If the meter displays "Lo", your uric acid level may be below 3 mg/dl (0.18 mmol/l).

If the glucometer displays "Hi", the uric acid level may exceed 20 mg/dl (1.19 mmol/l).
