Description

The Herpotherm medical device is a device for local relief of symptoms associated with herpes.

Action

The product works by using concentrated heat (local hyperthermia). High temperature (50°C) deactivates the herpes simplex virus, inhibiting its multiplication. Additionally, high temperature stimulates the immune system, and short-term application does not cause skin damage.

Intended use of the product

The product can be successfully used in both adults and children (independent use is allowed only after completing 12 years of age). The Herpotherm medical device does not contain chemicals, so it can also be used by pregnant women and people with allergies.

Indications

Indications for use are symptoms accompanying the appearance of herpes (lips or genitals). such as: burning, tingling, itching or a feeling of tightness of the skin.

Product characteristics

Can be cleaned with alcohol wipes.

How to use the medical device

1. Place the device on the affected skin and press lightly.

2. Start your device. The ceramic surface will heat up to 51°C and when the required temperature is reached, the LED will light up for 3 seconds. Additionally, an acoustic signal sounds at the beginning of the warm-up phase and at the end of operation.

3. The equipment will turn off automatically after 3 seconds of operation.

4. In case of recurring or persistent symptoms, the therapy can be repeated after a 10-second break.

For hygiene purposes, it is recommended that the device be used by only one person. Use by more than one person carries the risk of infection with the Herpes simplex virus. It is not possible to completely get rid of the virus infection.

Contraindications and precautions

A break of at least 10 seconds should be left between subsequent uses.

Depending on the degree of sensitivity, use may be unpleasant.

Susceptible people may experience short-term redness at the site of application.

Do not use around the eyes.
