Palo Santo is a mystical tree that grows on the coast of South America. In Spanish, the name literally means "Holy Tree". Its scent is a combination of sweet rose-resin notes, mint and citrus.

Palo Santo is famous for its healing and cleansing properties similar to white sage.

The magic of Palo Santo has its source in an alchemical process that begins when the tree dies. To fully obtain its magical and healing properties, the tree must die, but it is not about simply cutting it down - but about the natural death of an old, wise tree.

How to smoke Palo Santo:

Use a candle, match or lighter to light a piece of Palo Santo. Hold it at an angle of about 45 degrees with the tip pointing towards the flame. Let it burn for about 30 seconds to 1 minute and then blow it out. Move it to your workplace, home, car, bathroom or wherever you want to remove bad energy. If you do not extinguish the wood first, it should go out on its own after burning.

In ethno-botanical systems in the Andes, Palo Santo is also used: as an insect repellent, as a stimulant for cats (similar to catnip), for colds, asthma, allergies, stress, anxiety, seasickness, migraines, arthritis and neck inflammation.
