Herbapect syrup has been present in family medicine cabinets for many years - and this is not surprising, because it is a medicine that helps both with the so-called tiring dry cough and difficult expectoration.

Additional information

The syrup does not contain sugar and can be used by diabetics. There is no data on the effect on the ability to drive and use machines. The use of the product is harmful to people with alcoholism. The alcohol content should be taken into account when used in children and adolescents and in high-risk groups such as patients with liver disease or epilepsy.

Active substance

5 ml of syrup contains active substances:

• 498 mg of liquid extract from Thymus vulgaris L., (herba) thyme herb (1:2), extraction solvent: ethanol 30% (V/V), ammonia water 25%, glycerol 95%;
• 349 mg tincture of Primula veris L., (radix) primrose root (1:5), solvent

  extractive ethanol 70% (V/V);

• 87 mg sulfoguaiacol (Sulfogaiacolum).

Traditionally in catarrh of the upper respiratory tract.

The so-called tiring "dry cough".

Difficult expectoration.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substances or to the excipient. Asthma. Do not use use in children suffering from acute laryngitis (croup).
