PEBAX ® - is one of the most advanced and at the same time the most popular technologies currently used in the production of sports shoes, including running shoes. Officially introduced to the market in 2007, the Pebax® technology quickly conquered the global sports footwear market. In short, Pebax® is a revolutionary foam that uses high-performance TPE elastomers, i.e. plastics or organic materials with unique properties. They are very light, long-lastingly flexible and extremely resistant to tears and impacts. Pebax®elastomers, unlike most plastics, are able to release maximum energy upon reflection, returning almost immediately to their original shape. In addition, they remain highly flexible at low temperatures, and their energy efficiency allows the runner to effectively use each step. All leading companies producing running shoes use Pebax® elastomers in the soles of their shoes. Most often, the elements of a running shoe made of TPE elastomers are: the midsole itself, stiffened heels and additional shock-absorbing plates in the midsole.

The Pebax® group of materials fills the gap between TPU thermoplastics, and traditional rubbers. Pebax® is the lightest among all TPE materials and has a wide range of hardness and elasticity. It also has excellent dynamic operation properties and does not heat up during operation.
