Swivels are used to connect cooperating elements with the possibility of mutual rotation. They act as a swivel joint, allowing the elements to rotate mutually without twisting them.

The swivels are made of A4 acid-resistant steel. It is an austenitic steel which, thanks to alloy additions (molybdenum), is highly resistant not only to water but also to acidic and alkaline environments. It is a steel with much higher anti-corrosion properties than A2 stainless steel. Other designations of A4 steel are: AISI 316, X5CrNiMo17-12-2, 1.4401.
