Plastic canteen
The canteen is made of plastic. Even though plastic has been used in our homes and kitchens for many years, the plastic canteen is a relatively new invention. However, plastic has many advantages. The canteen is light, heats up slower - we can put very hot food into it and grab the canteen without the risk of burns, it is resistant to dents. Another very important feature of a plastic canteen is its ability to float on the water surface - anyone who has ever lost a canteen on a lake or in a river will appreciate this fact.
Bioplastic
The Light My Fire brand follows the times and responds to the needs of customers and the natural environment. The plastic used in production was made from biomass - that is, from plants, and not, as traditionally, from crude oil, which, as we know, is a non-renewable source (at least in the scale of our human lives). Plant-based plastic is relatively new, but it is still gaining in popularity.
