The new ROAM is equipped with dual-band GPS, which makes navigation functions even more accurate. This is especially noticeable when driving in places where GPS reception may be limited - such as forests or urban areas.

The updated hill function makes the current elevation graph even more readable. In addition, the counter now automatically detects and shows all hills on the preloaded route and shows all climbs you have already completed. You can also view more detailed information about current or upcoming climbs while driving.

The new ROAM features a 64-color high-contrast screen that allows users to easily navigate and provides even greater readability of training screens, colorful graphs and data fields.

Increasing ROAM capacity to 32 GB allows users to manage their data even better and store more maps and saved routes. Increasing battery life to 17 hours allows you to ride longer.

The new ELEMNT ROAM is fully integrated into the Wahoo ecosystem: with both indoor and outdoor training features. Now cyclists can sync their ROAM workouts with a Wahoo X subscription - giving them access to both outdoor and indoor trainer training.

ROAM also has the function of controlling all trainers from the KICKR and KICKR BIKE families. It can also control all other Smart trainers. It also connects to all other sensors (i.e. heart rate sensors, cadence, speed, power meters) from Wahoo (as well as other companies using BT and ANT+ technology).

All this gives users maximum flexibility in their training - whether on the trainer or outdoors.

ELEMNT ROAM also adds a whole range of new features such as: USB-C charging, improved convex buttons, ambient light sensor, screen magnification option, Quicklook LEDs, smart navigation and multisport function (with Rival watch).
