What is it and how is it created?

Shilajit, also known as mumio, is a mineral and organic substance with a dark color and a thick, tarry consistency, found in high mountain regions - in the Himalayas (India, Nepal). , Tibet), in the Pamir Mountains (Tajikistan, Afghanistan), in the Altai Mountains (Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Russia), in the Caucasus and in the South American Andes.

In high mountain conditions (3000 - 5000 m above sea level), it can be found in the form of a coating covering rocks and crevices, under the influence of strong solar radiation it liquefies and flows to the lower parts of the mountains.

Shilajit has been known for its health-promoting uses for 5,000 years, the first mentions of it were found in ancient books of Ayurveda. It was considered an elixir of longevity and called the Weakness Slayer.

Production process

The production process of Shilajit begins with the preparation of raw material, which contains approximately 30-40% pure mummy, mixed with sand, stones, earth and grass. This raw material goes through 3-4 stages of purification to separate mumio from impurities. Then, in a 200-liter vat filled with 70-100 liters of water, Shilajit is heated and stirred for several hours - thanks to this, sand, stones and other impurities settle at the bottom of the vessel. The next step is to pour the contents into another vat with the addition of water, which allows the finer particles to settle at the bottom. After this procedure, the cleaned mummy is transferred to another container with a closed lid, where the process of removing excess moisture takes place for about three hours. Finally, the finished product is poured into bags with a capacity of 5-20 liters and a thickness of 100-200 microns, which have previously been lubricated with vegetable oil - which prevents the mumio from sticking to the bag and facilitates its separation.

The whole the procedure is carried out in a traditional and artisanal way by mountain families who have specialized in the production of Shilajit for many generations. Each manufacturer has its own unique methods and nuances that are rarely shared outside a narrow circle of craftsmen.

Product composition and use

Recommended daily portion: 2 x 1 spatula 0.2 g = 0.4 g

How to use:

Measure 0.2 g of the product according to the scale on the spatula and dissolve it in a warm, but not boiling, drink (water, tea, coffee, etc.). Consume twice a day, 30 minutes before a meal. After 4 weeks of taking the product, a week's break is recommended.

Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

The supplement cannot be used as a substitute for a varied diet.
