Allergocrom 20 mg/ ml, eye drops, solution, 10 ml
Allergocrom is a drug in the form of eye drops used in in case of acute and chronic conjunctivitis. Allergocrom is a clear, colorless or slightly yellow solution contained in a 10 ml plastic bottle. Its active substance is sodium cromoglycate. The drug can be used by adults and children over 4 years of age.
Indications
Acute and chronic allergic conjunctivitis.
Composition
1ml Allergocrom solution contains:
- active substance: 20 mg sodium cromoglycate
- excipients: benzalkonium chloride, disodium edetate, glucose monohydrate, water for injections.
Dosage
- Children over 4 years of age and adults: it is usually recommended to instill 1 drop into the conjunctival sac 4 times a day.
- The drug should not be discontinued after the symptoms disappear, it should be continued until the contact with the allergen ceases, e.g. pollen, dust.
- With the doctor's consent, it is possible to use hard contact lenses, although they should be removed before instillation and put back on the eyes after 15 minutes.
Contraindications
Do not use if you are allergic to sodium cromoglycate or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
Storage
Keep Allergocrom out of the sight and reach of children at a temperature below 25°C in the original packaging.
After first opening drug bottles can be used for 6 weeks.
