Lansky Turn Box 4 ceramic LCD5D is a simple sharpening system with 4 ceramic rods, allowing you to sharpen kitchen knives, everyday knives and survival tools.

Traditional hand sharpening, considered by many knife enthusiasts to be the best method of sharpening, requires experience, skill and patience, which most of us do not have the time or desire for.

For people looking for simpler and equally effective sharpening methods, Lansky has designed the Lansky Turn Box sharpener, which can be successfully used at home, while camping or hunting.

The design of the sharpener it is very simple, it consists of a wooden base, with holes at different angles and a set of 4 ceramic sharpening rods.

The user can decide independently about the sharpening angle, based on their own preferences, the purpose of the knife or the specifications provided by the manufacturer.

After placing rods of the same gradation in the holes, a V-type system (double-sided) with a constant sharpening angle is created. This allows you to maintain control over the grinding process, thus influencing its correctness and sharpening quality.

The wooden base also serves as a transport container, allowing you to safely carry the set's elements in one place.

When packed, the set weighs 205 g and takes up little space, so survival and bushcraft enthusiasts can also use it in the field.

Depending on the type and purpose of the knife, the cutting edge may have a different angle, affecting the strength and cutting parameters. The Lansky Turn Box sharpener offers 2 angle settings most commonly used by knife manufacturers.

• 20° - kitchen knives, pocket knives, small EDC folders,
• 25° - large EDC folders, hunting knives, outdoor, survival

The sharpening rods are made of hard aluminum, which are suitable for sharpening popular steel grades, e.g. 440C, N690, 14C28N, AUS8.

The set includes 4 ceramic rods:

• 2 rods with a grit of 600 medium for working sharpness,
• 2 rods with a grit of 1000 extra fine for polishing or quick sharpening

White rods with a grit of 1000 - used at the last stage of the sharpening process to polish the edge and give it final sharpness.

Gray rods with a grit of 600- are used to give working sharpness and quick sharpening.
