If you want to monitor speed then the sensor should be mounted on the hub of either wheel, and thanks to automatic calibration with a cycling computer or other compatible device, it provides accurate speed and distance measurement in all conditions.

If you want to use the cadence sensor mode, just mount the sensor on the crank arm. It fits any size. Its task is to measure the number of pedal revolutions per minute, helping you to fully utilize the potential of your training.
