Solvent-based contact adhesive, based on chloroprene rubber and phenolic resins.

Application:

Designed for the footwear and leather industries.

It is used for gluing natural and synthetic leather, rubber, fabrics, felt and cork in mutual combinations.

Properties:

• Strong and flexible

• Does not contain harmful toluene

• Produces durable joints

• Moisture resistant.

Application:

Before gluing, roughen new surfaces (rubber, leather) with sandpaper and remove dust.

Remove old unglued joints.

Clean dust and dirt from the surfaces.

Rinse greasy surfaces with acetone, white spirit or nitro solvent and dry.

Before gluing, bring the product to a temperature of +18 to +25 ºC.

Gluing:

Gluing should be carried out in rooms with efficient ventilation away from from an open flame, apply the glue to the glued surfaces with a brush with short, hard bristles;

on absorbent materials such as leather, felt or fabrics, apply two layers of glue 20 minutes apart, after 15 minutes, connect the glued surfaces and firmly press together for about 20 minutes. After drying, the base materials should be activated at a temperature of 50 ÷ 70 ºC for 2 to 4 minutes before pressing.
