One-component contact adhesive intended for use in the footwear industry for bonding natural and artificial leather, rubber, fabrics and felt. It can also be used in the furniture, automotive and construction industries.

HOW TO USE

The adhesive must be mixed thoroughly before use. Smooth surfaces (e.g. rubber, leather) should be prepared for gluing by scratching with sandpaper and removing the resulting dust.

Using a brush with short, stiff bristles, apply a thin layer of glue to both surfaces to be glued, including the materials absorbent (e.g. like skin) twice (the second time after about 15 minutes). The glue and the glued materials should be seasoned for at least 24 hours.

Join the glued elements after 15-25 minutes from applying the last layer and press strongly for at least 15 seconds. Full strength of the joint is achieved after 3 days from gluing.

Clean tools and any dirt with gasoline or acetone immediately after finishing work (before the glue hardens).

The hardened glue can only be removed mechanically.

NOTES: Extending the drying time of the glue before joining the elements gives a much higher initial value of the adhesive peel strength. In order to increase its strength properties, the rubber with glue applied can be activated at a temperature of about +55°C for about 3 minutes.

Not suitable for gluing Styrofoam and other surfaces sensitive to solvents.

It is recommended to carry out preliminary adhesion tests before gluing.
