DESCRIPTION

Magne B6 Forte contains magnesium ions and pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6). The drug supplements the deficiency of magnesium and/or vitamin B6 in the body. Magnesium is a cation necessary for the proper functioning of many biochemical processes in the body. Its biological role is to activate a number of enzymes. Magnesium plays an important role in the process of heart muscle contraction and influences the state of neuromuscular excitability. Magnesium is only partially absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract, mainly in the small intestine, and the degree of absorption depends on its content in food. Magnesium deficiency may cause disorders in the muscular system and the central nervous system.

Vitamin B6 increases the absorption of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract by 20-40%. The product is indicated for use in magnesium deficiencies, which may occur in various physiological situations (e.g. insufficient supply of magnesium, after intense physical exercise or in the case of chronic stress or lack of sleep) and pathological situations (e.g. congenital malabsorption syndrome). p>

COMPOSITION

• The active substances of the drug are: magnesium ions (in the form of magnesium citrate) 100 mg pyridoxine hydrochloride (vitamin B6) 10 mg
• The excipients are: anhydrous lactose, macrogol 6000, magnesium stearate.
• Coating composition: hypromellose, macrogol 6000, titanium dioxide (E 171), talc.

DOSE

Adults:

3 to 4 tablets a day, in 2 or 3 divided doses during meals.

Use in children and adolescents aged 6 years or older (weighing approximately 20 kg):

from 10 to 30 mg/kg body weight. per day, i.e. 2 to 4 tablets per day, in 2 or 3 divided doses, with meals

CONTRAINDICATIONS

• if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.
• if you have severe kidney failure (creatinine clearance less than 30 ml/min)
• if you are also taking levodopa
