• Dressing foil is resistant to bacteria and viruses. It is also resistant to liquids.

Using the dressing:

• The ABENA transparent film dressing can be used to immobilize primary dressings, as well as to apply protective layers on exposed skin areas.
• Before removing the protective layer, ensure that the foil is properly attached to the skin. This can be done with a warm hand.
• The dressing can be cut to the appropriate length.
• The foil is also useful in protecting freshly tattooed skin. ul>

TATTOO CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

1. Let the tattoo bleed freelyfor 15 minutes before applying dressing.
2. Carefully clean and dry both the tattoo area and its surroundings.
3. Prepare a piece of protective foil, matched to the size of the tattoo, leaving a 2-3 cm margin from the edge of the tattoo.
4. Gently peel off part of the protective layer to expose the adhesive side.
5. Carefully apply the protective filmusing light pressure. Make sure you do not stretch the foil during application. The skin should be in a neutral position when applying the dressing.
6. The first dressing should be left on the fresh tattoo for a maximum of 24 hours, adjusting this time to the level of bleeding. Remember that it is normal for blood and fluids to accumulate under the dressing.
7. A second dressing can be used for several days.
8. If necessary third dressing can be applied. However, remember that you should not wear one roll of protective foil for more than a week.

REMOVAL:

Remove the foil carefully and slowly, taking care avoid damaging it. Do not try to tear off the foil by pulling upwards.
