Then they are cleaned, dried and shaped into flakes. Inactive yeast flakes are a rich source of protein, minerals, B vitamins and fiber. The complex of these ingredients has a beneficial effect on the immune system, digestive system, has antibacterial properties, supports appetite and intestinal function. The vitamins contained in the flakes also have a positive effect on hair, skin and nails. Yeast flakes are a perfect complement to vegan and vegetarian diets. They can be added to many dishes, as a thickener, seasoning for soups, sauces, smoothies, sandwich spreads, cheese substitute in vegan dishes.
