GINEXID gynecological cleansing foam (pH 4.5) has antibacterial properties by preventing the growth of microorganisms. The preparation owes its action to natural extracts and chlorhexidine.

GINEXID contains:

- Chlorhexidine - a broad-spectrum antiseptic that has a strong bactericidal and bacteriostatic effect. It has a stronger effect on Gram-positive bacteria, less on Gram-negative bacteria and some viruses. The effectiveness of Chlorhexidine in the treatment of intimate infections - bacterial and fungal infections - has been documented. It does not negatively affect the physiological vaginal flora dependent on Lactobacillus.

- Witch hazel extract - reduces congestion, has protective, anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, and also gives a feeling of freshness on the skin. It has a toning, soothing and refreshing effect (particularly useful in the treatment of delicate vaginal areas).
