A steel bike is a classic and, in our opinion, one of the best materials for the production of a unique gravel bike. That's why we created our KROSS Esker 4.0 gravel for all those who are looking for something durable and, above all, stylish. And they know that bikepacking is not a passing fad, but a state of mind. KROSS Esker 4.0 was created to help you reach your destination safely and comfortably. Regardless of whether it is the finish line of races such as Wisła 1200 or a simple adventure into the unknown.

Away from civilization

When we sat down to design, we set ourselves the goal of creating a bicycle reaching back to the classics, and at the same time, one who is not afraid of modern solutions. That's why we chose Cro-Mo steel to build the frame. This raw material allows for much better vibration damping. Steel, next to expensive carbon, is a material with the highest ability to absorb vibrations. Riding even a stiff bike made of steel tubing is simply more enjoyable. The steel frame is not as stiff as the aluminum one, but it has other properties - thanks to its durability and resistance to damage, it allowed us to install numerous mounting holes for a water bottle, rack or panniers. They can be placed almost anywhere on the frame or fork without fear of damaging the frame. To improve riding comfort, we installed a carbon fork, which provides excellent damping and low weight.

Accessories

In KROSS ESKER, we used the Microshift accessory group, supplemented with mechanical disc brakes. We used the PROWHEEL crank. Disc brakes provide short braking distances, and thanks to the mechanical construction of the caliper, complicated service is not needed in the event of a breakdown on the road. For the production of wheels, we chose 28-inch Kross rims wrapped in 40-millimeter-wide tires. The WTB Sport Volt saddle ensures a comfortable ride even on the longest routes. The handlebar tape is made of fi'z:k tape, meaning driving comfort and a secure grip.
