The growing interest in colloidal silver preparations is related to their strong action, superior to classic bactericidal agents (silver has a non-specific effect, unlike e.g. antibiotics, which are effective only within a narrow range strains). ☑️ These are preparations with a concentration of 50 ppm, which means that there are 50 silver particles per million water molecules.
☑️ These preparations are in the form of an even suspension of silver particles and are distinguished by a slightly amber color.
The color of the silver colloid depends on the size of the particle and its shape, for example, nano rods will have a green colloid and nano stars will have a blue color.
The information that silver colloids with color are ionic colloids is repeated nonsense unsupported by any research. Light passing through the silver solution is refracted and changes its color, and its color is observed, for example, as yellow. The higher the concentration of silver particles, the darker the color

Important information
In 2020, research was carried out which showed that colorless silver is not a non-ionic colloid and does not contain silver nanoparticles. Colorless silver contains silver ions, so it cannot be called a silver nanoparticle colloid.

What is worth emphasizing is that the silver particles, despite their small size, maintain a spherical shape. This means that they are 3D nanoparticles, i.e. every dimension is nanometric. Thanks to this, they easily penetrate the natural covers of microorganism cells and, apart from their surface effect (damaging the covers and surface proteins), they also affect the interior of pathogens by disturbing biochemical processes
The presented photo shows the size of silver particles, which mostly range from 5-15 nm. Please remember that the smaller the particle size, the more effective the action.
Smaller particles guarantee excellent activity at low concentrations. An additional advantage of the colloids we create is the fact that silver nanoparticles do not combine with each other to create larger, less effective structures - thus maintaining their original sizes.
