Semi-static rope 10 mm Tendon Speleo is a core rope with low elongation (static elongation is a maximum of 3.5%). Originally, the rope was produced with speleology in mind, but its excellent parameters and relatively low price make it perfect for all types of work at heights and linear access. Despite its small diameter - 10 mm, the rope has a very high tensile strength, up to 29 kN, and the static strength with knots is 16 kN. Tendon Speleo 10 mm is certified in accordance with the EN 1891 type A standard.

The 10 mm Tendon Speleo semi-static rope has good knotty properties - it is soft to the touch and easily yields to all knots. The big advantage of the rope is low shrinkage and no slipping of the sheath relative to the core. The manufacturer achieved these parameters by reducing the weight of the braid (42%) relative to the weight of the core (58%). The rope from the Czech manufacturer can be used perfectly as an auxiliary rope (vertical transport) or as a safety or working rope (for devices working with ropes with a diameter of 10 mm). Tendon Speleo 10 mm is characterized by good resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage and does not dynamically change its parameters (does not stiffen, does not swell, does not pill).

If the 10 mm Tendon Speleo rope is used as personal protective equipment it is subject to annual inspection by a person appointed by the manufacturer in accordance with the EN 365 standard. The service life of Tendon ropes depends on the intensity of use:

• 1 year - intensive, daily use with heavy loads
• 1-3 years - intensive, daily use, with slight load
• 3-5 years - used several times a week, lightly loaded
• 5-8 years - rope used several times a month
• 8-10 years – unloaded, rarely used rope

Please remember that all polyamide products are sensitive to chemicals, acids and alkalis, oils, solvents (also contained in paints) and bitumens. Despite the high resistance of the braid to mechanical damage, the rope should be protected against sharp edges, and if many fibers are damaged in one place, the rope should be shortened or withdrawn
