Hope Floating Brake Disc Purple 203mm 6 screws

The floating disc is a great choice for those who are looking for even better braking as well as a unique look . Its design consists of two main elements: a stainless steel disc in contact with the pads and a "spider", i.e. an aluminum carrier.

Both elements are connected with rivets. The result is a reduction in weight and linear thermal expansion, which causes the diameter of the steel element to increase rather than bending the entire disc. Hope discs are made of high-quality stainless steel mounted on an aluminum spider. The floating mounting of the steel working part ensures perfect, parallel positioning of the discs in relation to the brake pads. The unique shield design ensures rapid heat dissipation and self-cleaning. Openwork dial pattern and aluminum spider reduce weight.
