How to prepare the tapes?

1. Cut the tape to the appropriate length to apply to the area to be treated and prepare the appropriate number of strips, carefully rounding the corners with scissors.

Peel off the backing and stick the top end down to the other end of the tape. You don't have to worry about the tape tearing because it is durable and extremely flexible.
   3. Once properly stretched, apply the strip of tape, making sure to smooth it out thoroughly to avoid wrinkles that can cause blisters and wounds.
   4. After applying the patch to the required treatment area, rub it with your hand or warm it for a short time. This will activate the heat-sensitive adhesive and allow the mediTrade tape to adhere securely to the skin.
   
   
   

   How to prepare different types/shapes of kinesiotherapy patch?

   1. I-STRIP

   This is the most commonly used type of patch and is applied to many parts of the body to treat many different ailments. I-Strip is one long, continuous piece of tape that has no cuts to divide it into pieces. Even though this tape is not cut, you still need to make sure the corners are nicely rounded and remember to apply without stretching. How long you will need the I-Strip will vary greatly depending on the length of the muscle you want to treat. Typically, 15 to 25 cm long I-Strips will be used in most cases. You may need up to 4 pieces of tape if you are treating large areas and larger muscles and to get the most benefit from use.

   
   
   

   2. DONUT SHAPE

   The Donut style is created by making vertical cuts in the center of a strip of tape that also has a hole cut out in the middle. The tape is then applied to the skin, distributing the various cut sections in a circular fashion to create the donut shape that gives it its name.
