Duspatalin Gastro contains mebeverine hydrochloride. It belongs to a group of drugs called spasmolytics, which act in the intestine. The intestine is part of the digestive tract. Its walls are made of muscles. Digested food moves through the intestine. If the intestinal muscles contract severely, it causes pain. Duspatalin Gastro has a relaxing effect on the muscles and removes pain.

Indications: used in adults and children over 10 years of age to treat symptoms of abdominal pain or discomfort (e.g. bloating, feeling of distension) in the abdominal cavity, which may be accompanied by disturbances in the rhythm of bowel movements and changes in stool consistency, including diarrhea and (or ) constipation caused by improper functioning of the digestive tract.

Composition: the active substance of the drug is mebeverine hydrochloride. The other ingredients are: lactose monohydrate, starch (corn or potato), povidone (K25), talc, magnesium stearate. Coating: talc, sucrose, gelatin, gum arabic, carnauba wax.

Action: Duspatalin Gastro has a relaxing effect on the muscles and removes pain.

Dosage: 1 tablet 3 times a day. Take this medicine 20 minutes before a meal at regular intervals throughout the day.

Contraindications: the drug should not be used in children under 10 years of age, in pregnant or breastfeeding women, if the patient is allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of the drug.

Storage: keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children. Store in a dry place, at a temperature below 30 degrees Celsius.

Side effects: difficulty breathing, swelling of the face, neck, lips, tongue or throat. This may be a severe allergic reaction (hypersensitivity) to the drug. If any of the symptoms mentioned above occur, stop taking the medicine and contact your doctor immediately. Minor allergic (hypersensitivity) reactions to the drug may occur, e.g. rash, red, itchy skin.

Warnings and precautions: tablets should be swallowed whole and washed down with an appropriate amount of water (at least 100ml). Keep the medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
