Aspargin x 75 tablets

Aspargin lek magnez potas 75 tabletek

Introduction

The drug Aspargin is widely used in cardiology and family medicine due to the ease of absorption and the beneficial effect of the ingredients on the functioning of the entire body. Its aim is primarily to supplement the deficiencies of magnesium and potassium - these are elements of key importance for the functioning of the human body. The drug has been used for several decades, and during this time it has gained the recognition of doctors by effectively supporting the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Taking Aspargin is recommended for all people suffering from chronic and temporary cardiac problems, as well as in the case of potassium or magnesium deficiency.

For many years, Aspargin has been one of the most frequently used drugs in cardiology and family medicine. The basic function of Aspargin is to ensure the appropriate level of magnesium and potassium through an easily digestible mixture of salts in aspartic acid.

The causes of magnesium deficiency may include alcohol abuse, high stress levels, the use of hormonal contraceptives, an inadequate diet or kidney failure. Its importance for health is enormous - an insufficient amount of this element leads to problems affecting many aspects of the human body. The list of potential effects of magnesium deficiency includes: hair loss, caries, atherosclerosis, migraines, depressive disorders, difficulty concentrating, insomnia and many others. All this means that Aspargin can significantly help with various diseases.

Inadequate potassium levels, in turn, result in general weakness of the body, and in particular of skeletal muscles; its lack may, in turn, cause heart problems. This element is involved in many processes that are crucial to health, including regulating pressure in the bloodstream and ensuring an adequate supply of oxygen to the brain. Aspargin is recommended primarily in the case of heart arrhythmia and after heart attack or procedures involving the loss of magnesium or potassium.

Comprehensive help in taking care of your health is due to the composition of Aspargin, which includes mainly two key active substances:

● magnesium hydrogen aspartate (Magnesii hydroaspartas) – 250 mg,

● potassium hydrogen aspartate (Kalii hydroaspartas) – 250 mg.

Excipients also used include potato starch, sucrose, ultraamylopectin, magnesium stearate and talc.

Aspargin tablets should only be used orally - it is usually recommended to take 1 to 2 tablets 2-3 times a day. The content of magnesium and potassium ions is 17 mg and 54 mg, respectively, which at this frequency means 34–102 mg of magnesium and 108–324 mg of potassium per 24 hours. It is worth consulting the therapy with a family doctor or a heart surgeon, especially if the effect of the preparation is weak or too strong. When taking the drug, you should limit the consumption of meals high in phosphates, lipids and calcium, i.e. those containing, among others: nuts, cereal grains, seeds or legumes, as well as products high in fat.

Despite its beneficial effect on many health problems, the use of Aspargin is also associated with certain contraindications. The medicine should not be used by people who are hypersensitive to any of the active or excipients contained in the medicine. Contraindications also include, among others: excess magnesium or potassium, kidney failure, dehydration or hypertension; For a full list, see the leaflet that comes with the medicine. Aspargin should not be given to children under 12 years of age. Using the product during pregnancy requires prior consultation with your doctor.

Any medicine can cause unwanted effects - it is no different in the case of Aspargin. The most common side effects are abdominal pain, nausea, constipation, vomiting and diarrhea, which occur in less than 1 in 100 patients. These types of symptoms usually go away on their own; otherwise, consult your doctor. Less frequently (1-10 in 10,000 people taking the drug) heart problems, skin redness or muscle weakness may occur. Insomnia may occur in less than 1 in 10,000 people.

Aspargin is registered as an over-the-counter drug.

Composition

Active substances: magnesium hydrogen aspartate (Magnesii hydroaspartas) and potassium hydrogen aspartate (Kalii hydroaspartas).

1 tablet contains 250 mg of magnesium hydrogen aspartate (17 mg of magnesium ions) and 250 mg of potassium hydrogen aspartate (54 mg of potassium ions).

Excipients: potato starch, sucrose, ultraamylopectin, magnesium stearate, talc.

Indications and action

Aspargin is considered a valuable source of a well-digestible mixture of magnesium and potassium salts of aspartic acid, which is intended to relieve anxiety, insomnia, as well as improve memory and concentration. Magnesium is an activator of many enzymes and also mediates the processes of energy production and transport in the body. It is necessary for the proper functioning of the heart muscle, nervous system, vascular smooth muscle, and striated muscles. Magnesium is an important building block of bones and teeth. Magnesium deficiency leads to an increased risk of developing coronary heart disease, heart attack, heart rhythm disturbances, difficulty concentrating, increased susceptibility to stress and hyperactivity.

Potassium is an important element that is involved in the functioning of the nervous and cardiovascular systems. Effectively lowers blood pressure and increases the supply of oxygen to the brain. Its deficiency in the body translates into problems with the proper functioning of the circulatory and excretory systems and the regulation of water and electrolyte balance.

Aspargin is recommended for use in the following cases:

  • the need to supplement the deficiency of magnesium and potassium when it is not necessary to administer them via the venous route;
  • hyperactivity and arrhythmia of the heart;
  • recovery after a heart attack, after infectious diseases and after surgical procedures;
  • in the prevention of ischemic heart disease;
  • at the risk of a heart attack;
