REDBACK

Size does matter. Not just a children's sail, the RedBack has been designed with ergonomics in mind for smaller riders. The lower clew and cutout for boom heads, as well as lower material tension, make it an ideal sail for light windsurfers. By adjusting the geometry to the player's height, we get better control and performance.

Redback is a well-thought-out project, our goal was to make a light and flexible sail so that the youngest could make maximum progress and have 100% fun!

Sizes 2.6 and smaller have 3 strips to reduce weight. The larger sizes, 3.0 to 4.7, are based on the S-1 with 4 slats for better stability and wind coverage. All sizes use the highest quality eM3 materials for maximum performance.

DOUBLE SEAMS

All Severne wave sails have 25mm double seam windows. Wider, single-color seam on one tape ensures maximum resistance to tearing and cracking.

SPIDERFIBER

A mesh made of fiberglass tapes distributes the load over the entire sail and prevents the mass from "swinging". By using lighter and stronger fibers and creating a thinner mesh, the weight was reduced while increasing its strength.

EM4

HIGH LOAD LAMINATE

Developed from em3, it has been improved. It has twice the strength properties of classic X-PLY. Additionally, this material allows for significant weight reduction. It is used in the lower parts of the sails.

SOFT EDGE

Protects the lower edge of the sail and seams against abrasions and scratches.

DURABLE AND LIGHT

EM3 is a combination of the efficient "e" series with maximum efficiency. The added polyester fabric provides unique tear resistance characteristics, and off-axis loads are transferred to the X-PLY fibers. The red and blue fibers have high UV and tear resistance, while the reduced monofilm thickness significantly reduces the weight of the sail. This material not only reduces the overall weight of the sail but also the swing weight, making the sail more maneuverable and giving better control.

THERMOFORMED TACK FAIRING

It protects your board from impacts and neatly covers the mast foot.

It also has a small pocket for storing excess trim line.
