WHAT IS A SCENT LAMP AND HOW DOES IT WORK?

• The lamps work on the principle of catalytic combustion - when the burner is heated, the air flowing through its contour destroys bacteria and eliminates unpleasant odors. At the same time, the lamp releases the selected aroma through the stone.
• Fragrances dedicated to Ashleigh & Burwood lamps are a mixture of natural and natural plant extracts. The fragrance compositions themselves can be described as perfumery, because they contain aromas known from luxury perfumes.
• The basis of each aroma is isopropyl alcohol - it is the same form of alcohol that is found, among others, in: in disinfectants used in hospitals. In addition, there is distilled water and the fragrance itself
• Ashleigh & Burwood lamps can boast of positive test results conducted by Independent Laboratory Research, which show that they help destroy the most common bacteria and unpleasant odors in households.
• Use the scent lamp for 30-40 minutes for an amazing air-purifying scent.

HOW TO USE THE SCENTED LAMP?

1. Place the lamp on a surface resistant to stains and high temperatures. Remove the extinguisher and the catalytic stone (connected) to the wick. Using a funnel, fill the lamp with the selected fragrance cartridge dedicated to catalytic lamps up to 2/3 of the volume (there must be free space between the neck of the bottle and the surface of the liquid). Remember: be careful not to spill the oil, and if it does, wipe everything dry before using the lamp.

2. Place the stone with the wick in the lamp again, put on the extinguisher and leave it on the lamp for 20-30 minutes (if the stone is covered, the scent will not evaporate) to allow the wick to soak in the selected fragrance.

3. Remove the extinguisher, make sure the catalytic stone is properly seated and light it. Note: never touch or remove the stone when it is lit and do not leave a burning lamp unattended, as the flame can reach up to 15 cm high!

4. After 3-4 minutes, blow out the flame (never cover a burning stone with an extinguisher or a decorative cover!). At this point, the lamp starts the process of purifying the air and saturating it with the selected aroma. Use the lamp for a maximum of 30 minutes in a room of 16 m2.

5. The stone remains hot (even without a flame) throughout the entire process of releasing the fragrance, i.e. absorbing the oil through the wick. Therefore, when the lamp is working, do not move it or touch the stone. Protect it by covering it with a decorative cover.

6. To stop the odor release process, remove the decorative cover (warning: it may be hot!) and cover the stone with an extinguisher (it also protects the oil from evaporating when the lamp is not in use). Do not move the lamp for the next 30 minutes until it cools down.

7. Make sure that the selected fragrance oil does not burn out completely, as this may shorten the life of the wick. If you plan not to use the lamp for a long time, pour the oil back into the bottle.

*Ashleigh & Burwood Fragrance Lamps only use A&B fragrance cartridges with capacities of 250 ml, 500 ml or 1000 ml, possibly others, but dedicated only to catalytic lamps.
