DESCRIPTION

A drug that neutralizes gastric acid and also has a protective and astringent effect. The aluminum phosphate contained in the preparation has a protective effect on the mucous membrane of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum by creating a protective layer. The suspension form facilitates even distribution of the drug on the mucous membrane, which facilitates its healing. Aluminum chloride formed as a result of the neutralization reaction has an astringent and anti-inflammatory effect. The addition of peppermint oil provides a slight antispasmodic and digestive effect.

COMPOSITION

100 g of suspension contains:

• active substance: aluminum phosphate 4.5 g
• excipients: sucrose, sodium benzoate, ethyl hydroxybenzoate, propyl hydroxybenzoate, glycerol 85%, peppermint oil, purified water. li>

INDICATIONS

In the treatment of ailments occurring in the course of the following diseases:

• Pulcer disease of the stomach and duodenum (auxiliary or ad hoc in case of symptoms)
• Hyperacidity of gastric juice
• Gastroesophageal reflux
• Heartburn

DOSE

Shake the bottle before use. It is usually administered orally 3 times a day, a teaspoon (in more severe cases, a tablespoon) before eating or 1-2 hours after each meal and immediately before bedtime. Do not use more than 100 ml per day. If you have the impression that the effect of the medicine is too strong or too weak, talk to your doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Gelatum Alumini Phosphorici should not be used in the following cases:

• severe renal failure
• hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients of the preparation.

ADDITIONAL

Pregnant or breastfeeding women, think they may be pregnant, or plan to have a child should consult a doctor before use. The preparation may cause local skin reactions (contact dermatitis).
