Controloc Control 20 mg, 14 gastro-resistant tablets
Controloc Control - a medicinal product used to reduce the amount of acid in the stomach.
Action
The drug inhibits the secretion of hydrochloric acid in the stomach.
Removes symptoms associated with reflux disease (however, it is not intended to immediately eliminate the symptoms).
Indications
Controloc Control is used for the short-term treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease in adults.
Composition
1 tablet contains:
- Active substance: pantoprazole (as pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate) 20 mg;
- Excipients: core (sodium carbonate anhydrous, mannitol (E421), crospovidone, povidone K90, calcium stearate), coating (hypromellose, povidone, titanium dioxide (E171), yellow iron oxide (E172), propylene glycol, methacrylic acid and ethyl acrylate copolymer, sodium lauryl sulfate, polysorbate 80, triethyl citrate), ink (shellac, red, black and iron oxide yellow (E172) and ammonium hydroxide concentrated).
Dosage
Always use this medicine exactly as described in the leaflet for the patient or as recommended by your doctor or pharmacist.
The recommended dose is 1 tablet a day.
The daily dose should not exceed 20 mg .
The medicine should be taken for at least 2-3 consecutive days. You should stop taking Controloc Control when your symptoms disappear completely. It is possible to relieve the symptoms of reflux and heartburn after just one day of use, but remember that this medicine is not intended to immediately relieve symptoms.
Contraindications
When not to use Controloc Control:
- if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
- if you are taking HIV protease inhibitors , (medicines used to treat HIV infection).
Take the medicine with food and drink
Take the tablets before a meal, at the same time every day. The tablets should be swallowed whole with plenty of water and should not be chewed or divided.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Contact your doctor before use during pregnancy and breast-feeding.
Use of the drug in children and adolescents
Do not use in people under 18 years of age.
