Gaviscon mint flavor Tab 250 mg + 133.5 mg + 80 mg, 48 chewable tablets
Gaviscon o mint flavor Tab is a preparation intended for the treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux in adults, pregnant women and children from 12 years of age. It contains three active substances:
- sodium alginate (250 mg in 1 tablet),
- sodium bicarbonate (133.5 mg in 1 tablet),
- calcium carbonate (80 mg in 1 tablet).
The drug creates a protective layer on the surface of the gastric content, which prevents it from flowing back from the stomach. This reduces pain and discomfort in the mouth and throat.
Gaciscon with mint flavor is in the form of chewable tablets. The cardboard box contains blister strips of 48 tablets.
Indications
Gaviscon is used in adults, pregnant women and children aged 12 years and over to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease, such as such as:
- belching,
- heartburn,
- indigestion.
< h2>Composition
1 tablet contains:
- active substances: sodium alginate (Natrii alginas) 250 mg, sodium bicarbonate (Natrii hydrogenocarbonas) 133.5 mg, calcium carbonate ( Calcii carbonas) 80 mg,
- excipients: peppermint flavor, macrogol 20,000, mannitol (E421), copovidone, aspartame (E951) 3.75 mg, acesulfame potassium (E950), magnesium stearate.
Dosage
- Adults, elderly people, children aged 12 years and over: if symptoms occur 2 up to 4 tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.
- Children under 12 years of age: use only after consulting a doctor.
Gaviscon is intended for oral use. The tablet should be chewed thoroughly before swallowing. If symptoms persist for more than 7 days, consult a doctor. Do not take a double dose to make up for a missed dose. If you take too much medicine, you may experience abdominal bloating. It is unlikely to be harmful, but if it persists, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
Contraindications
Allergy (hypersensitivity) to any of the ingredients of the medicine , manifested as difficulty breathing or skin rashes.
