Indications

Symptomatic treatment of ailments related to hyperacidity of gastric juice, such as:

• heartburn,
• dyspepsia,
• flatulence,
• nausea,
• belching,
• feeling of fullness or heaviness in the upper abdomen.

Composition

• The active substances are: calcium carbonate, heavy magnesium carbonate.
• 1 tablet contains 680 mg of calcium carbonate and 80 mg of heavy magnesium carbonate.
• Excipients: sucrose, gelatinized corn starch, potato starch, magnesium stearate, talc, light liquid paraffin, mint flavor (mint oil, maltodextrin, gum arabic, silicon dioxide), lemon flavor (lemon oil, maltodextrin, water).

Dosage

Always use this medicine exactly as described in the package leaflet or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.

• Medicine for oral use.
• Tablets can be chewed or sucked.
• In case of pain associated with hyperacidity or heartburn, you can take an additional 1-2 tablets between the usual dosing times.
• The medicine should not be used for a long time.
• Do not use the medicine for longer than 7 days.

Adolescents over 12 years of age and adults: 1-2 tablets , one hour after a meal and at bedtime Do not take more than 11 tablets a day.

Contraindications

When not to use Rennie Antacidum:

• in case of if you are allergic to the active substances or any of the other ingredients of this medicine,
• if you have an increased level of calcium in your blood (hypercalcaemia),
• if you have been diagnosed with calcium kidney stones, severe kidney failure,
• in case of reduced concentration of inorganic phosphates in the blood (hypophosphatemia).
