Product description:

Drug Omeprazole Genoptim SPH 20 mg contains the active substance omeprazole, which belongs to a group of medicines called proton pump inhibitors. These medicines work by reducing the amount of hydrochloric acid secreted in the stomach.

Composition:

Each capsule contains 20 mg of omeprazole. Sucrose, grains, lactose anhydrous, hypromellose, hydroxypropyl cellulose, sodium lauryl sulfate, disodium phosphate dodecahydrate, hypromellose, phthalate, diethyl phthalate.

Action:

• Omeprazole Genoptim SPH is used in treating the symptoms of reflux (e.g. heartburn or regurgitation) in adults.
• Reflux is the backflow of acidic stomach contents into the esophagus, which can cause pain and inflammation of the esophagus. The disease manifests itself by a burning sensation in the chest (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).
• Symptoms may be alleviated only after 2-3 days of taking the drug.

Application:

• It is recommended to take the drug in the morning.
• Omeprazole Genoptim SPH can be taken with a meal or on an empty stomach.
• Swallow the capsules whole with water (half a glass). Do not chew or crush the capsules. The capsules contain coated pellets that protect the medicine from the acid in the stomach, so it is important that the pellets are not damaged. The pellets contain the active substance omeprazole and are covered with a coating that protects them from damage in the stomach.
• The active substance is released from the pellets and absorbed in the intestine.

Dosage:< /h2>

The recommended dose is 10 mg - 20 mg once a day for 14 days.

Contraindications:

• if you are allergic to omeprazole or any of the other ingredients of Omeprazole Genoptim SPH;
• if you are allergic to proton pump inhibitors (e.g. pantoprazole, lansoprazole, rabeprazole, esomeprazole);
• if you are taking nelfinavir (used to treat infection HIV virus).
