Indications:

Bioprazole Bio Max is used for the short-term treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux (e.g. heartburn and acid regurgitation). The medicine is intended for adults.

Properties:

Reflux is the backflow of acid from the stomach into the esophagus, which may result in inflammation and pain. This may lead to the following symptoms: a feeling of burning pain in the chest going up to the throat (heartburn) or a sour taste in the mouth. In such a situation, it is worth reaching for Bioprazol Bio Max. Bioprazol Bio Max is a medicine in the form of hard capsules that contain the active substance - omeprazole. Omeprazole belongs to the group of "proton pump inhibitors". Its mechanism of action is to reduce the amount of hydrochloric acid secreted in the stomach. In this way, it reduces the irritating effect of acidic gastric contents on the esophagus in patients who experience reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus. The omeprazole contained in Bioprazol Bio Max does not cause, for example, uncomfortable effects for the patient, such as those caused by the use of ranitidine (resistance to the action of the active substance and rebound effect after discontinuation). As many as 80% of patients confirm a reduction in the severity and frequency of heartburn after using omeprazole. The medicine works for 24 hours. It is as much as 87.9% effective in treating nighttime heartburn in patients with GERD and reflux esophagitis.

Composition:

One capsule of the drug contains 20 mg of omeprazole.

Usage:

20 mg (1 hard capsule) once daily for 14 days.

The Bioprazol Bio Max product in the form of capsules is best taken in the morning, before eating, with half a glass of water.

The capsule should be swallowed whole. It should not be chewed or crushed before swallowing.

You may need to take the capsules for 2-3 consecutive days to improve your symptoms.

Important information:

Bioprazole Bio Max is not recommended in case of hypersensitivity (allergy) to omeprazole or any of the other ingredients of the drug.

Hypersensitivity to drugs containing other proton pump inhibitors (e.g. pantoprazole, lansoprazole, rabeprazole, esomeprazole) and taking a drug containing atazanavir or nelfinavir (used to treat HIV infection) are also contraindications to its use.

Not recommended for children and adolescents.

The drug is not recommended for use during breastfeeding.
