Iberogast oral liquid is a preparation indicated for stomach and intestinal cramps, irritable bowel syndrome, stomach irritation, inflammation of the gastric mucosa.
Composition :
100 ml of liquid contains: 15 ml of bittersweet herb extract, 10 ml of angelica root extract, 20 ml of chamomile flower extract, 10 ml of cumin fruit extract, 10 ml of caraway extract milk thistle fruit, 10 ml of lemon balm leaf extract, 5 ml of peppermint leaf extract, 10 ml of celandine herb extract, 10 ml of licorice root extract.
Action:
The preparation has a bi-directional effect on the digestive tract: the extract from the bitter plant increases the tension of the smooth muscles of the stomach and intestines in unstimulated or poorly stimulated sections of the digestive tract, thereby relieving the feeling of fullness and flatulence, while other plant extracts have a relaxing effect in too highly stimulated sections of the stomach and intestines. In addition, the preparation has a carminative, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial effect and inhibits the secretion of gastric juice.
