Proton pump inhibitor. A drug used in diseases associated with excessive acidity of gastric juice.

Indications

Anesteloc Max is indicated for the short-term treatment of symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (e.g. heartburn, regurgitation). gastric contents) in adults.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the active substance or to any of the excipients. Use of HIV protease inhibitors, the absorption of which depends on the pH of hydrochloric acid in the stomach, such as atazanavir or nelfinavir simultaneously with pantoprazole is contraindicated due to a significant reduction in their bioavailability by pantoprazole.

Composition

One gastro-resistant tablet contains 20 mg of pantoprazole in the form of pantoprazole sodium sesquihydrate 22.6 mg.

Dosage and method of administration

The recommended dose of the medicinal product is 20 mg pantoprazole (1 tablet) once daily. To relieve symptoms, it may be necessary to use the medicine for another 2-3 days. After complete resolution of symptoms, treatment should be discontinued. Without consulting a doctor, treatment should not last longer than 4 weeks. The patient should be instructed to consult a doctor if symptoms do not improve within 2 weeks of treatment. Special patient groups: in elderly patients or with impaired renal or hepatic function, no dosage adjustment is necessary. Children and adolescents: Anesteloc Max should not be used in children and adolescents under 18 years of age due to limited data on safety and effectiveness.

Method of administration: Anesteloc Max gastro-resistant tablets should not be chewed or crushed. They should be taken before a meal, swallowed whole and with water.
